» WHICH IS A RIGHT JOB FOR ME?

Hello,

I have a chance to read a book which was recently compiled by Alpha Book, titled “Don’t Let Employer Miss You” (Để Không Bị Nhà Tuyển Dụng Bỏ Lỡ). The book impressed me by its practical approach with deep knowledge synthesized from the top publications for career advice such as The Right Job, Right Now by Susan D. Strayer and Get That Job by Malcolm Horby.

With many years in recruitment industry, I have opportunities to work with hundreds of candidates. Among these candidates, there are a great number of senior personnel who still wonder if the current job is suitable for them. Have you ever defined a right job for you? A right job is a job in which you can apply your true qualifications and values to attain success for yourself and your company? Or which can pull you out the bed every morning to head to the office or which can keep you stay on until results are achieved? In fact, it seems a simple question but it is one of the most significant questions which you must address in your life. Obviously, it is not easy to answer. For me, I found the ideas in Don’t Let Employer Miss You are truly helpful to answer this simple but crucial question.

Throughout the book, readers can find that mapping a clear “Life Career Map” would be very essential and foremost key to ensure your career success. Below are some useful ideas and suggestions from the book to draw your life career map:

This helps you to find the effective methods to approach with people around you, in order to get their support and cooperation that facilitate you advance in your career.

    • Set “SMART” goals for your career, and even your life. Along with the exercises and personal tests, this book also adds more values by leaving specific suggestions to help readers recognize their priorities in order to reach Work-Life balance.
